The Kitchell Memorial Library system is located at 300 SE 5th Street. The Kitchell Memorial Library provides free services to all residents living within the Ricks Township boundaries with services available to all others for a fee.

In addition to these items, hundreds of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s public server, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.

The library offers an abundant collection of print and non-print material covering a broad spectrum of subject areas for adults and children.  Books may be checked out for a two week period with a late fee of 5 cents per day of overdue materials.  Non-print items may be checked out for one week with a late fee of 50 cents for each day overdue.

Kitchell Memorial Library is a member of the SHARE, OCLC, WORLDCAT, FIRSTSEARCH, WORLDCAT, CAMIO, ARCHIVE GRID, and ILLINET.  This membership enables our patrons to request library materials from libraries world wide, which will be delivered directly to Kitchell Memorial Library for their use.
